Our Vision
For the 2026 Evangelism Challenge our goal is, Lord-willing, to get the truth of the Gospel into the hands and hearts of at least 30,000 people before the end of the year!
Let us redeem the time, looking unto Jesus, living for what really matters, investing and laying up treasures in heaven, and not wasting a moment of this short life that God has given each of us for His glory! We must not let the opportunities that God has given us to shine for Him—by example or by words—pass without action!
“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
— Matthew 28:18-20
What is the Nature of this Evangelism Challenge?
Our goal with The Evangelism Challenge 2026 is to personally give a tract with an accurate Gospel presentation to over 30,000 individuals! These Gospel tracts are handed to co-workers, friends, neighbors, shoppers, delivery men, business men, bankers, law enforcement, cashiers, government workers, fellow passengers, waiters/waitresses, strangers and family members alike, at birthday parties/programs, nursing homes, hospitals, Church visitors, at parks/museums, the toll booth worker, construction crews, realtor, prospective buyers/sellers, at trades/sales events/expos, et. al. Children and adults do this wherever they live, work, play, and go, whether as individuals or with others doing the Challenge where they are.
The Mission
As Born-again Christians, we have been saved from eternal punishment and forgiven through the precious blood of Christ our Savior. We have been given life more abundantly, a close relationship with the Lord Jesus—the best and closest Friend one could ever have—a loving, caring, guiding, protecting, Almighty, and merciful Father, an Advocate, and so so many blessings in Him! How can we keep it to ourselves and never share the Good News with even one of the lost people around us?
It is so easy to just not share the Good News—maybe due to fear of rejection, maybe because of a lack of confidence—but God can use anyone who is willing to obey and follow Him by faith. All we need to do is tell them the truth of the Gospel through scripture! God’s Word is powerful and He is “able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” (Ephesians 3:20).
But He cannot use our silence. Let us boldly proclaim the Good News of salvation to whomever we can! Their response is not what is important, but that we are obeying our Lord who has done (and continues to do) so much for us. Point them to Jesus—He does the saving—you cannot fail by sharing His perfect and powerful Word!
May we, as the early church in Acts, pray for boldness “And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word…And when they had prayed…they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.” (Acts 4:29,31.)
Remember! Jesus’ love for you is unconditional, and He does not love you any more or any less depending on what you do. We desire to serve Him out of love, gratitude, and obedience! We pray that each one is also blessed in their walk with the Lord, as we take the steps forward in faithful obedience to Him. “And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.” (Psalms 9:10) “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” (Galatians 6:9.)
Why Join the Evangelism Challenge 2026?
This is a great way to introduce people to Jesus. If you’re not used to initiating a conversation, a good way to practice is by handing a tract to someone. Besides, they will have it to read and reread. Then, they can use it to share the Gospel with someone else! Plus, God can use your step of faith to open the door for a longer conversation in which you do personally present the Gospel.
“But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.”
Every Gospel tract we hand to someone is a Gospel seed being sown! We are doing exactly what God did when He sent Jesus, our Emmanuel (or God With Us) to a sinful world, to personally introduce Himself to us! This Challenge provides a context in which to do just that, coupled with the motivation and accountability of a set goal, deadline, and a bunch of fellow believers simultaneously working together.
Why 30,000?
Nothing is too big for God! You are joining others across the country all at once. You’re there for the people God has placed you with, and everyone needs to hear the gospel!!! Then, why such a “small” number compared to the lost all around the world? It has been said, “If you aim at nothing, you’ll hit it every time.” So let us aim high and trust Him for the results. Every person who has been Born Again is grateful that God reached out to them through another person’s witness.
The First Evangelism Challenge Was EXCEEDED!
In October of 2025, the first Evangelism Challenge was launched, with 32 people participating. In less than three months, the Lord used 32 people to pass out over 3,000 Gospel tracts in states throughout the U.S. Jesus came to seek and save the lost, and He does it in and through us! Just think how many can be reached throughout 2026!
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to actually hand the tracts out directly to someone?
Yes. For this challenge, let us be bold and show care, kindness, and the love of our Lord as we hand each tract to someone, as the Holy Spirit leads. You could pair it with a few pieces of candy or even just after helping someone or lending a hand.
Do I have to buy the tracts?
That’s your choice. We would be happy to supply you with the tracts you need, including special tracts in conjunction with our nation’s 250th anniversary! But if you have your own that you would like to use, just as long as they share the gospel, that is fine.
Where should I hand out the tracts?
Anywhere! And however the Holy Spirit leads. Some ideas: At the grocery stores, gas stations, a park, to any delivery driver; USPS, UPS, Amazon, etc.
Are there any requirements?
No, just a love for the Lord and desire to serve Him!
Is there a deadline to register?
No, there is no deadline! You can sign up anytime if you would like to join us and help reach the goal before the end of the year!
How often should I report the tracts I've handed out?
Reporting is done on a weekly basis. If you are part of a Fife & Drum Corps, report your number of tracts to your Fife & Drum Corps leader.
Where can I report my tracts?
You can report your tracts by logging in and clicking the “Report tracts” button.
If you are part of a Fife & Drum Corps, report your number of tracts to your Fife & Drum Corps leader.
